"What goes up must come down"
This statement is true in my studio too, what gets designed one day will need artworking the next, and after much artworking recently I have been having to keep myself inspired ready for next seasons design projects during the repetitivness of pre-press, so I thought I should post some images that have kept me inspired (and sane) over the last month or so.

I love extreme make-up photography. It takes the idea of simple beautification to an obscene, almost grotesque level of fascination. This work is by German photographer Viktoria Stutz, who works mostly with two great makeup artist – Julia Sieckmann & Julia Heiermann.
As a fully fledge card technician in my role as a packaging designer I love this project. PAPER WARS is an exhibition of the Death Machines series of paper reproductions of classic weapons systems. If you are in London go check at the Portobello Road Craze Gallery.
